Krantz acquires UK sales partner

Krantz Limited, based in Rochester (Kent) with its whole team, joined the STEAG family on November 2. Krantz GmbH Managing Directors Norbert Schröder and Thomas Schmukal signed the contracts sealing the takeover last Tuesday. Krantz has acquired 100 per cent of the Krantz Limited shares from the company’s founders.

“In acquiring Krantz Limited, we are continuing to push ahead with our internationalization strategy and will ourselves be able to participate more in the economic success on the British and Irish markets in the future,” says Thomas Schmukal. “With this acquisition, we are now seizing the opportunity of gaining attractive access to the market which will be extremely beneficial in many sectors and, in particular, for the Nuclear Technologies business unit,” Norbert Schröder adds.

Krantz GmbH has been successfully selling products through external sales organizations on the very strong British market since the 1980s. In January 2018, Krantz Limited had taken over the rights to the name and the exclusive representation of Krantz products from the Filter and Damper Systems and Air and Climate Solutions divisions for the UK and Ireland.
